Hand of God

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

Hand of God: Scientists Reveal Amazing X-ray Image of a Supernova in Deep Space

'The ghostly blue cloud seems to form an outstretched thumb and fingers grasping a burning lump of coal. This astonishing image was taken by Nasa's Chandra X-ray observatory, which is orbiting 360 miles above the Earth's surface.'

As Above So Below

We are living inside the Mind of God which is dreaming all of this, I am more than convinced of this than I have ever been, about anything. :D

Always thought this one was cool, representative to me of dreaming mind and the cycle of old-and-new. I forget the source, Orion Nebula? Proportions are a little off maybe, but still ... you have to look for detail in the shadows to the right but looks to me like an old, long-haired fellow holding an infant (of some kind  ) wrapped in a blanket/swaddling cloth. Had to downsize the image for uploading here so not sure the pareidolia aspect will come through. Click on the image to view larger.

There is something beyond our mind which abides in silence within our mind. It is the supreme mystery beyond thought. Let one's mind and one's subtle body rest upon that and not rest on anything else. [---][/---] Maitri Upanishad

I personally think this whole pareidolia-thread a bit insulting.
At first whitenightf3 is making us talk to the hand, and now arc-us is giving us the finger??

Just had to react against this treading on civility.
Of course it could just be my perception, and I might even be dreaming but if not...
