Vela Pulsar

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

I'm absolutely stunned that anyone could see this picture and not believe at least some part that electrical currents are creating enormous plasma z-pinch effects in the universe. Ok, I have that off my chest.

Secondly, did anyone notice in the upper right-hand image that- around the central, fully-formed torus there are what appear to be three bright spheres orbiting inside the torus?? This instantly reminded me of moons inside our system orbiting their parent planet inside their corresponding planetary torus'.

Are these proto-planets? Just knots of plasma? Any guesses?

Last but not least- I STILL can't believe anyone could see this picture and not see it as a z-pinch plasma effect! >.<

Spinning "Pulsars" are much sexier than plasma relaxation oscillators! :)
