suggested TPOD Mars "depression"

Hundreds of TPODs have been published since the summer of 2004. In particular, we invite discussion of present and recent TPODs, perhaps with additional links to earlier TPOD pages. Suggestions for future pages will be welcome. Effective TPOD drafts will be MORE than welcome and could be your opportunity to become a more active part of the Thunderbolts team.

suggested TPOD Mars "depression"

You might find this Mars "depression" (I would call it a crater) interesting (if you haven't already):

Personally I doubt that the sandy area in the bottom of the depression is made up of dunes; probably electrically glassified material if anything. Especially look at the "sandy" area to the bottom left with all of the parallel ridges that are at 90 degrees to the ridges in the "dunes" immediately adjacent.
