Popular Science is shutting off comments

Many Internet forums have carried discussion of the Electric Universe hypothesis. Much of that discussion has added more confusion than clarity, due to common misunderstandings of the electrical principles. Here we invite participants to discuss their experiences and to summarize questions that have yet to be answered.

Popular Science is shutting off comments

Unread post by Sparky » Fri Sep 27, 2013 9:14 am

A response to that decision:
Popular Science announced today that it is shutting off comments for good. “Comments can be bad for science,” ----- Thanks to these trolls, she went on, “the cynical work of undermining bedrock scientific doctrine is now being done beneath our own stories, within a website devoted to championing science.”
"It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong."
"Doubt is not an agreeable condition, but certainty is an absurd one."
"Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities." Voltaire

Comments tend to expose their intellectual bias, taking away the hoped for effect of the articles on the memeverse. With the comments I tend to find that someone else has expressed far more eloquently my own thoughts and feeling on any given article. To me personally, comments have been on education tool, but to them most likely a "thing" mitigating the effectiveness of their intellectual thought war.
Today is the yesterday of tomorrow.

They only want to purport their own dogmatic science and not allow others to help science evolve. They are focused on making money with ads and copying propaganda stories. When enough people question their authority on science, like how they have to be correct all the time because of their old dogma theories always irrefutably considered as fact, they finally block public comments to maintain the money flow from wasteful fraudulent spending. They are the trolls of dogma, and have been fed with huge sums of cash, to create their own science. Original thinkers like those here at EU are called trolls by the trolls, who believe third and fourth hand hearsay facts whenever another new story is released. For example, you can rarely read a new story without some dogmatic idiot who wrote it make factual statements related to the big-bang age. That's because the house of reps funds NASA, and our reps need to be informed that people and other scientists are sick of the dogma, the big-bang is like believing in Santa claus
