At high altitude, where the GPS clocks orbit the Earth, it is known that the clocks
run roughly 46,000 nanoseconds (one-billionth of a second) a day faster than at
ground level... The orbiting clocks also pass through that field at a rate of three
kilometers per second--their orbital speed. For that reason, they tick 7,000
nanoseconds a day slower than stationary clocks. To offset these two effects,
the GPS engineers reset the clock rates, slowing them down before launch by
39,000 nanoseconds a day. They then proceed to tick in orbit at the same rate as
ground clocks, and the system "works." ... In (Einstein) theory, however, it was
expected that... continuously varying relativistic corrections would have to be
made to clock rates.... But these corrections were not made. Yet "the system
manages to work, even though they use no relativistic corrections after launch...

Author's website points out: Profound Fundamentals of Mathematical Physics Seriously Misapplied to Gravitational Lensing.. Although the author still occasionally refers the effect observed as "gravitational lensing" the author demonstrates that the "colinear" (line of sight) "direct interaction" is not necessary in order to produce the "gravitational lensing" effect. He attributes the effect to refraction through the plasma medium and offers another theory based on what appears to be 're-transmission' of the light by the plasma:

Astrophysical observations pertaining to lensing are consistent with effects due to an indirect interaction involving interfering media, not a direct interaction taking place in vacuum space. Current technical means can not permit a distinction to be made between an indirect interaction and a direct interaction between gravitation and electromagnetism. The thin plasma atmosphere of the sun represents an indirect interaction between the gravitational field of the sun and the rays of light from the stars. There is convincing observational evidence that a direct interaction between light and gravitation is yet to be observed. Historically, the observational evidence for light bending effects have always been noted to occur predominantly near the thin plasma rim of the sun, not in the vacuum space far above the rim. The events taking place at the site of Sagittarius A* presents convincing observational evidence that a direct interaction between light and gravitation simply does not take place.

Although he seems to mix words in a few spots I get the subjective opinion that he was cleaver enough to posit the falsification of gravitational lensing separately from his own theory.
