There is chatter about Merapi in Indonesia .. A 3X bigger magma chamber than Tambora?
http://notrickszone.com/2010/11/05/der- ... -eruption/A rough estimate indicates that there is three times more magma than what was ejected by the Indonesian volcano Tambora in 1815 – the biggest eruption in the last 10,000 years, which led to a cooling of the climate globally.
Is there some way to compare this to the Yellowstone Caldera?
I have not seen any of those really "pretty" images of the ground level rise for Yellowstone lately, either.
Anyone have a link? They are kinda shy on the web.
USGS's take:

Lots of Global Cooling with that much ash ... and it really throws ash!!
The You Tube Video of Today's Ash Throwing was astonishing.

Could "the all planets warming" be affecting volcano's this badly? ... like affecting Methane, but more severe?
