Re opposite side of the Earth. This is interesting as Antarctica and Greenland share ice caps that in my opinion were caused by a magnetic pole shift. Anthony Peratt's work suggests that an Aurora discharge was centered on Antarctica . As I interpret his study ( with Rens et al ) the orientation of the petroglyphs around the world numbering literally thousands ) point to this conclusion ( due to angle of observation and hence distortion of the torus ata geographical site)

Sealed-Off Lake Still Tantalizingly Out of Reach

The Russian team that has been drilling for 24 hours a day to reach the sub-glacial Lake Vostok that lies at the bottom of a 3750-meter-thick ice sheet in Antarctica has come up 29.53 meters short. The team must now pack their bags and board an airplane before temperatures drop so low that the plane’s hydraulic liquid freezes, leaving researchers stranded until next spring. The researchers will rest up, reacquaint themselves with their families, and prepare for the next Antarctic summer, when it is hoped the drill head will puncture the pristine waters to reveal new life forms.

They're amazing. They're huge. They're made of hematite. Are they fulgurites?

These are interesting!
crystals, grown in place under a localized aurora?

Shelgeyr,

They look quite a bit like subsea hydrothermal vents ie "black smokers", left from when the area was covered by ocean.
Note they're surrounded by many layers of lime/sand stone, and also the many vulcan features on the larger map of the peninsula; which is in fact an extension of the Afar rift system.

Seasmith, good call! And thanks for the link.

They do indeed resemble "black smokers". Everything I've seen about black smokers in the past emphasized either the extremeophile lifeforms colonizing them, or the danger the recording submersible would be in if it got its windows too close to the ultra-hot water. One thing I don't think I've heard or seen is a reference to what they're made of, other than "volcanic deposits".

Do you know if they're made of hematite? Or if there is a variety of possible compositions (which wouldn't surprise me a bit), do you know if hematite is one of them? Personally I have no idea, but I will certainly look into it...

Hello Shelgyeyr: The formations are thought provoking. They could be smokers as has been suggested. I believe the area was submerged during the time of wind and dust, and probably before. The mountain to the south would be an island above the water line.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UT ... 7&t=p&z=13

The area behind the black columns seems to be sediment deposited in a manner described in the sedimentology videos. The horizontal layers are the sign of underwater slurry deposition.

http://www.sedimentology.fr/

The "smokers seem burned on the exterior more than the interior.

http://www.panoramio.com/photo/8430092

The whole area is covered with basalt. A huge thunderbolt struck just to the WNW.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UT ... 3&t=h&z=17

The positive and negative points of the Birkeland current are obvious!

Anything above the waterline got zapped into basalt. NOT volcanic basalt. Everything changes in an Electrical Universe.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UT ... 3&t=h&z=14

Electricity seems to produce columnar objects. Whether the hexagon of Saturn, or the edges of basalt formations. The edges of basalt formations are where the hexagon and other columnar shapes are found. The shapes are blamed on slow cooling. But the slow cooling wold happen in the center, not the edge. And i don't think the formation has had millions of years to erode. More than 10,000 would be in opposition to most EU timelines. If someone wants to apply millions or billions of years i don't know why they would waste their time on this forum.

Apparently the Hebrews knew that a bronze statue of a fire serpent would protect them from the fire serpents. Sounds like a lightning rod/arrester.

http://www.christiananswersforthenewage ... ents4.html sorry about the source

[...]

Following the exodus from Egypt, the Israelites suffer a bitter consequence in the form of serpents. They become impatient after journeying around the land of Edom, and complain about the manna God has been providing. God's anger is provoked, and Numbers 21:6 states that He sends "fiery" (saraph, also translated "venomous" and "poisonous") serpents among the people. Many are bitten and die. Moses is instructed by God in verse 8 to make a bronze poisonous or fiery serpent (also saraph) and set it on a standard or pole, so that those victims who look on it may live. Obeying God, the bronze serpent (nahash) is produced by Moses and those who look on it live, as recounted in verse 9.

Ya can't make this stuff up. I heard this while driving through the mountains of Colorado. It's not mentioned in Worlds in Collision.

Laplanders refer to red, green, and blue fire serpents. The aurora can be red, green, or blue. Probably a coincidence.

I'll post my response here on the dune thread.

The ground of earlier geologic formation does not necessarily take away from later theorized electric events.
They Will need a 'ground' .

My first thought when I saw this picture was "these look like a fulgerites" which I realized I had a sample only the day before. This is a fused sand sausage about 50mm diameter with the inside looking as if it were two holes twisting around each other. I picked it up near the beach a few years ago and thought then it was a fossil root. Has anyone seen the inside structure of those enormouse columns? Then I saw that the question about being fulgerites was at the picture top.

* Henry, that's very interesting about the "two holes twisting around each other" in your fulgurite. 50 mm is 5 cm is 2 inches. Can you tell us how many complete turns there are per foot, or how many inches or cm there are per complete turn? I'm wondering if the number of turns per foot, as well as the diameter, of the fulgurite can tell us the power or other properties of the lightning strike.
* I'm also wondering if photons emitted from electrons are like lightning, or electric discharge, all making their twists and turns.

The Grand Canyon carved by a Cosmic Thunderbolt?

Unread post by EltonJ » Thu Mar 24, 2011 9:59 pm

Looking at Symbols of an Alien Sky, there is suggestion that the Grand Canyon was carved by a Cosmic Thunderbolt. When this happened, I cannot say. After looking at the Satellite photo, there is no way the mighty colorado could carve such a beautiful canyon, as the whole canyon itself does not match that of a riverine canyon.

I was wondering about the goosenecks and Canyonlands national park, where the Green River meets the Colorado. They have much of the same relief patterns as the Grand Canyon. Were they too, carved by a cosmic thunderbolt?

Hello Elton: The link below shows the area your asking about.

I'm going to give my impression of the process on the dune thread, where more people lurk.

Caldera Landform Characteristics & Electricity

Unread post by Tweed365 » Tue Jul 05, 2011 3:28 am

I live in NSW's Tweed Valley.

The standard view is that a volcano has eroded leaving.... the Tweed Valley, incl. Mount Warning.

The Tweed Valley's topography does not conform in all respects to the usual lab model of electrical arc-induced cratering, so I wanted to ask this question. Could I be on to something? There are other elements that do ring bells.

1. The topography of the central peak, with a peak and surrounding shield, is a similar shape to those found in arcing arcing experiment photos.
2. There are the usual crystals, thundereggs, minerals, hexagonal columns, etc. in abundance in the area.
3. The eastern valley (sugar cane) plains cannot logically have come about via an erosion process.

Any thoughts or advice on further researching this idea, or the worth of doing so, please reply.
