Sir wilhelm Interesting your comments on shifting crsust . The only thing I would ask everyone to question is the 'theory' of crusts. My thoughts are this yet another paradigm that has been accepted with very little evidence. In fact it could start a thread of its own. Most crust theory is based on sound reflections which are said to be an indication of the seismic qualities of the material the waves travel through. For instance the idea that the earth has an iron like core. The reality is that the sound reflections are far from predicteable and ignore other possibilities such as variance of sound waves through magnetic and electrical fields. Crust theory has a similar reliance so before we go along shifting crusts we should ask for a review of how reliable is the evidence?

Not to derail the discussion, but you might check out the Are the Planets Growing? thread where many of the questions mentioned here have been discussed. I just posted a book report there that touches on this stuff. This is from part two.
Dr. James Maxlow wrote: Ancient Magnet Poles

The published ancient magnetic pole information (the location of ancient magnetic poles established from measuring the remnant magnetism in iron-rich rocks) in particular provides conclusive evidence in support of Expansion Tectonics. When this magnetic pole data is plotted on Expansion Tectonic models it demonstrates that all pole data plot as diametrically opposed north and south poles for each model.

These models show that the ancient North Pole was located in eastern Mongolia-China throughout the Precambrian and Paleozoic Eras. As the continents slowly migrated south, during subsequent increase in Earth radius, there was an apparent northward polar wander through Siberia to its present location within the Arctic Ocean. Similarly, the ancient Precambrian and Paleozoic South Pole was located in west central Africa, and, as the continents slowly migrated north, there was an apparent southward polar wander along the South American and West African coastlines to its present location in Antarctica.

The locations of these magnetic poles, as well as the derived ancient equators, independently confirm the model reconstructions shown in Figure 3 and again suggest that Expansion Tectonics is indeed a viable process.

So does this insinuate your ionization theory as capable of producing these fossils. any comments.Certainly some have seen high voltage powerlines on live trees causing petrification very quickly.
Here is another Maxlow quote from the Are the Planets Growing? thread.
The ancient Permian Glossopteris fern is a common fossil in coals throughout the southern hemisphere and has traditionally been used to define the ancient Gondwana supercontinent. The known distribution of Glossopteris ferns is centred on localities in South Africa and adjacent India. During the Permian period East Antarctica straddled the equator adjacent to South Africa, which was surrounded by occurrences of Glossopteris flora in Australia, West Antarctica and India, suggesting Glossopteris flora may have also been extensive beneath the present East Antarctica ice-cap.

Antarctica ice free Piri Reis map - when did this occur?

Although he doesn't acknowledge the Saturnian cosmology, I think the research of Donald Patten in his book "The Biblical Flood and the Ice Epoch" could shed some light on a lot of the questions raised in this thread. Patten's conclusion is that the polar ice sheets were caused by a deposition of ice from a fragmenting icy visitor (an icy moon of Mars to be exact), but I think his research can be better explained by the EU theory.
cheers Aveo9, great post and information - even more to investigate and read!

the idea of the water firmament above our heads does fit into ancient stories and may explain why certain things couldnt be seen before, like the stars or a bright sun

do you have a timeframe for when this might have happened?
In 1929, a group of historians found an amazing map drawn on a gazelle skin. Research showed that it was a genuine document drawn in 1513 by Piri Reis, a famous admiral of the Turkish fleet in the sixteenth century. His passion was cartography.

Piri Reis high rank within the Turkish navy allowed him to have a privileged access to the Imperial Library of Constantinople. The Turkish admiral admits, in a series of notes on the map, that he compiled and copied the data from a large number of source maps, some of which dated back to the fourth century BC or earlier.

The Controversy - the Piri Reis Antarctica map - ice free

The Piri Reis map shows the western coast of Africa, the eastern coast of South America, and the northern coast of Antarctica ice free. The northern coastline of Antarctica is perfectly detailed. The most puzzling however is not so much how the Piri Reis Antarctica map managed to so accurate 300 years before it was discovered, but that the map shows the coastline under the ice. Geological evidence confirms that the latest date Queen Maud Land could have been charted in an ice-free state is 4000 BC.

the above is a quote from the ancient destructions website on an ice free Antartica - although mainstream dating techniques have to be questioned if the "Squatter Man" (high energy plasma discharge) imagery did occur, are there any clues, evidence or mythology about the dates of these events?

ice free Antarctica and Greenland - Oronteus Fineus map

Unread post by MattEU » Wed Aug 25, 2010 4:49 am

and speaking or looking at maps and evidence of an ice free Antarctica there is also the Oronteus Fineus map with iceless lands or islands with less ice that are now covered by ice sheets (Greenland shown as 2 seperate islands)
Oronteus Fineus map of an ice free Antarctica

Image

The Oronteus Fineus map was also incredibly precise. The Oronteus Fineus map showed an ice free Antartica with no ice-cap.It was drawn in the year 1532. There are also maps showing Greenland as two separated islands, as it was confirmed by a polar French expedition which found out that there is an ice cap quite thick joining what it is actually two islands. Another amazing chart is the one drawn by the Turkish Hadji Ahmed, year 1559, in which he shows a land stripe, about 1600 Km. wide, that joins Alaska and Siberia. Such a natural bridge has been then covered by the water due to the end of the glacial period, which rose up the sea level.

As we saw, many charts in the ancient times pictured, we might say, all the earth geography. They seem to be pieces of a very ancient world wide map, drawn by unknown people who were able to use technology that we consider to be a conquer of the very modern times. At a time when human beings were supposedly living in a primitive manner, someone "put on paper" the whole geography of the earth. And this common knowledge somehow fell into pieces, then gathered here and there by several people, who had lost though the knowledge, and just copied what they could find in libraries, bazaars, markets and about all kind of places.

Hapgood made a disclosure which amazingly lead further on this road: he found out a cartographic document copied by an older source carved on a rock column, China, year 1137. It showed the same high level of technology of the other western charts, the same grid method, the same use of spheroid trigonometry. It has so many common points with the western ones that it makes think more than reasonably, that there had to be a common source: could it be a lost civilization, maybe the same one which has been chased by thousands years so far?

New Evidence Supports Cosmic Thunderbolts

"Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them." -- Psalm 144:6

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 152530.htm
ScienceDaily (Aug. 31, 2010) — About 12,900 years ago, a sudden cold snap interrupted the gradual warming that had followed the last Ice Age. The cold lasted for the 1,300-year interval known as the Younger Dryas (YD) before the climate began to warm again.

In North America, large animals known as megafauna, such as mammoths, mastodons, saber-tooth tigers and giant short-faced bears, became extinct. The Paleo-Indian culture known as the Clovis culture for distinctively shaped fluted stone spear points abruptly vanished, eventually replaced by more localized regional cultures.
What had happened?

One theory is that either a comet airburst or a meteor impact somewhere in North America set off massive environmental changes that killed animals and disrupted human communities.

In sedimentary deposits dating to the beginning of the YD, impact proponents have reported finding carbon spherules containing tiny nano-scale diamonds, which they thought to be created by shock metamorphism or chemical vapor deposition when the impactor struck.

The nanodiamonds included lonsdaleite, an unusal form of diamond that has a hexagonal lattice rather than the usual cubic crystal lattice. Lonsdaleite is particularly interesting because it has been found inside meteorites and at known impact sites.
In the August 30 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a team of scientists led by Tyrone Daulton, PhD, a research scientist in the physics department at Washington University in St. Louis, reported that they could find no diamonds in YD boundary layer material.

Daulton and his colleagues, including Nicholas Pinter, PhD, professor of geology at Southern Illinois University In Carbondale and Andrew C. Scott, PhD, professor of applied paleobotany of Royal Holloway University of London, show that the material reported as diamond is instead forms of carbon related to commonplace graphite, the material used for pencils.

"Of all the evidence reported for a YD impact event, the presence of hexagonal diamond in YD boundary sediments represented the strongest evidence suggesting shock processing," Daulton, who is also a member of WUSTL's Center for Materials Innovation, says.

However, a close examination of carbon spherules from the YD boundary using transmission electron microscopy by the Daulton team found no nanodiamonds. Instead, graphene- and graphene/graphane-oxide aggregates were found in all the specimens examined (including carbon spherules dated from before the YD to the present). Importantly, the researchers demonstrated that previous YD studies misidentified graphene/graphane-oxides as hexagonal diamond and likely misidentified graphene as cubic diamond.

The YD impact hypothesis was in trouble already before this latest finding. Many other lines of evidence -- including: fullerenes, extraterrestrial forms of helium, purported spikes in radioactivity and iridium, and claims of unique spikes in magnetic meteorite particles -- had already been discredited. According to Pinter, "nanodiamonds were the last man standing."

"We should always have a skeptical attitude to new theories and test them thoroughly," Scott says, "and if the evidence goes against them they should be abandoned."
"The ancients possessed a plasma cosmology and physics themselves, and from laboratory experiments, were well familiar with the patterns exhibited by Peratt's petroglyphs." -- Joseph P. Farrell, author, 2007

So how does an impact create spheres with diamonds in them? I know how electricity can! Also interesting how they have a hexigon structure.....kind of like hexigon craters?!?! :o

Question - If it wasn't an impact what is the next prevailing theory? It amazes me how they so willingly refuse to look at other possibilities and scramble for any evidence they can, even if false.

One of the things that makes these forums exciting is the connection of ideas and thus patterns that lead to new conclusions . One aspect of Antarctica we haven't covered is scientific evidence for the age of the ice cover . One theory laden concept is that ice core rings are annual depositions . Thus if there are around 140,000 "annual rings" as per Antartica ( curiously only a 100,000 for the Greenland ice sheet) then the ice sheet is that many years old . This clashes with concepts of millions of years, as many scientist would conjecture, but is it still far too old an estimate as the Oronteus finneaus maps suggest? This article challenges that notion and simply stated shows that annually ( at least recently) snow deposition has been around 5 foot a year . This from tracking sunken aircraft. In the u tube video it shows layers that are quite thin that are traditionally interpreted as annual within this five foot layering .But this was deposited in a year? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSjKssN8 ... re=related. Further doubt is cast by Charles Ginthenel ( http://www.bearfabrique.org/Catastrophi ... s/ice.html ) who notes ice melt distorting and contaminating these layers whatever their age.
Another pattern is the extinction of the Mega fauna in North America ( including Alaska) and Russia ( Siberia and Islands near the Arctic circle) As probably everyone knows, many are deeply entombed in ice drifts and entangled in forests and muck in the Tundra . As regards more tempertae zones, along the Mississippi there are embedded, often in limestone and debris, the carcuusses of Mastodons and other Mega Fauna . What caused their extinction and dramatic death/ Paulina West explains how many native American legends speak of their death by mega lightning
( Thunderbolts of the Gods?) http://www.ancientdestructions.com/site/upd.php
Are we seeing a pattern indicating a possible related event to the deposition of the ice sheets in Antartica and Greenland?. If these events occurred at the same time are we being shown a fierce electro magnetic drama?. Extinct marsupials rolled with sea shells have also been found in Antartica. Could a similar event have occurred in the antipodes? The death of the Mega fauna is usually at the end of the ice age. This is conventionally dated to around 10,000 years ago. That is if you believe the veracity of carbon dating but with electro magnetic dramas this methodology could be way out. On Wrangle island near Alaska, they date mammoths at only some 3000 years ago
( Carbon dating journalof the industry-forgotten URL) . Any comments?

Hello Mungo: Now that NASA has found limestone in comet dust, the limestone and debris encasing the mega fauna is most likely comet dust. Or a reef slowly grew around the remains over many years.

is there another option that the formation of the comets or the electrical reaction/discharge of it forms the limestone chemical? similar to other chemicals being found streaming from "quasars" etc?

Yep I've pondered why so many fossils are found as deeply immersed in limestone and, at least with fishes, as if writhing in agony . Certainly cometry dust could be deposited around them but in the case of the ammonites along the Jurassic coast in England I wonder if we could think of other less obvious solutions. No one seems to of considred electrical transmutation of say vaste amounts of water or air to calcium carbonate . The fossils are equally buried in coal . Is this comet delivered or perhaps a creation of new compounds and minerals under electro magnetic extremes. After all is the limestone within comets created by an electro magnetic whirlpool that constantly modifies its constituents. Or am I thinking beyond the Pail? As I look at my periodic tables I often see how close the various mainline elements are. Often seperated by only a neutron or proton . For instance Carbon ,Nitrogen and Oxygen a mere proton apart. all the best Mungo

Starbiter,
Just how many comets, with the tiny amount of carbonates found on them, are you proposing electroplated their materials upon the earth to produce the prevalent limestone stuctures seen throughout the earth? A hundred trillion? Or laid down by hundreds of repeated visits by Venus? And if the latter, can you support with evidence there is even an iota of limestone on that planet?
Truth extends beyond the border of self-limiting science. Free discourse among opposing viewpoints draws the open-minded away from the darkness of inevitable bias and nearer to the light of universal reality.

Hello Matt: It's hard to speculate about other sources of carbonates. Wal seems to think dust might have been produced by Saturn during the Saturnian System, according to his recent audio interview. There's no way to know the composition of this material. I think the Milky Way began as a Quasar [Arp], but it's hard to speculate about this time. But comets seem to produce calcite [limestone] and dolomite, according to NASA. And our ancestors reported a hairy planet [comet, probably Venus] during the period of extended darkness [dust].

The fact that mega fauna are encased in limestone and debris, in places, makes reefs problematic. Comet dust during the last major catastrophe seems to be an option. A catastrophe with rocks and boulders falling from above kills mega fauna, to dumb to take cover. The blowing sand and dust cover them. The sand and dust equal cement and encase the victims. The calcite is misconstrued as coming from the sea. Why would anyone consider comet dust?

The last event with reports of wind, and thick, long lasting dust would be the top layer of Earth. This layer seems to cover everything we see today. Everything, from what i see. There was lots of dust, sand, gravel, rocks, and boulders the size of large trees falling on Earth.

Everything required for heat and pressure can be explained with an enhanced aurora. No tectonics are required. Electricity did it! Mostly on the surface, it appears to me. The metamorphic explanation seems delusional. The black hole of geology. Garnets no longer require a 250 mile round trip through Earth. But who would consider an enhanced aurora? That's crazy! Even though our ancestors describe it, down to the colors [red, green, and blue fire serpents].

The lower layers could be from Quasars, Saturn, the Great Flood, or reefs, or something i'm missing. The top layers are from the World Wide Plague of Darkness, IMHO.

rambling, michael
