* Film-maker Mark Bender, who attended last year's NPA EU conference in Maryland was interviewed in San Antonio last year and, after discussing his career for several minutes, talks on the following videos about his discovery of the Electric Universe after having interviewed many scientists for a National Geographic film he had made about an eclipse of the Sun from Easter Island. Since those scientists couldn't answer the question of why the Sun has a corona, he looked around and eventually found Talbott and Thornhill's book and is now or was working on a film project relating to it, I think.

Keep an eye on Mark Bender and his work with/for the EU, folks. You have to love his enthusiasm! Mark has clearly become an enthusiast and has skills that we could only imagine having available a few years ago.

Anyone who can help fund anything - this would be a good use for that kind of generosity. The EU paradigm won't get noticed so long as it's just an uninteresting upstart counterculture idea - it needs to tell an interesting, personal story to people, and Mark knows all about this angle in making serious subjects entertaining, beautiful and plausible.

Mark Bender found the EU on his own. He was dissatisfied with the conventional explanation and sought another opinion. I expect this to be the trend, and others will follow.
