Currently science has no real understanding of how stars form.


My theory of star formation - magnetic loops, originating at the galactic centre, extend out throughout the entire galaxy. Where the loops edge cuts through a gas cloud, this stirs the gas eventually forming the star. The jets we see are not created by the star. The star just illuminates the loops edge. The loops are more concentrated in the centre of a galaxy, hence more star formation.
