I just came across this article on Discovermagazine.com,
http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80bea ... ment-25866
How much more evidence is needed before the mainstream is swayed? Or do many of them know? Are they in denial because they don't want to have wasted their lifes work or are they just so caught up in the majority rule that they can't see that their forest is not made of trees?
further evidence leaves no doubt in my mind

Giday Max, and welcome aboard.
I'm surprized you haven't been drawn and quartered for bringing up EU over there! Still, there's plenty of time... It will be very interesting to see what sort of response your post brings.
Cheers, Dave.

I have no doubt that this is exactly what they'll do.

Actually, the tone of the blog seems to be one of challenging the conventional wisdom in all fields of science. The posts from what I have read seem to be opinion neutral and let the articles and reports speak for themselves.davesmith_au wrote:Giday Max, and welcome aboard.

The blog 80 beats has covered several reports of electromagnetism in space: The big plasma blob (as mentioned above), the electric tornadoes above Earth, and Mercury's active electromagnetic "envelope".
I'll be interested how things develop, but so far the author puts the relevant information in the post and lets the chips fall where they may.
How refreshing is that

Sigh... you're right, Anaconda.
I suppose it's human nature to get stuck in a rut and stay on a soapbox when nobody's listening... but we still need to be ready when people start listening, so that we don't sound like we're just there to fling plasma at the Establishment
Here's to trying to stay more objective when the people start knocking at EU's door! Cheers!
