Given advances in electronics knowledge over the past thirty or forty years, it has become useful to regard an aetheric substrate as one of the five phases/modes of matter.
It is what the other four are formed on, and it establishes links with electrical ground, gravity and so-called "vacuum phenomena".
"Winds" not needed...

i like that. The sun is a particle accelerator so the "wind" is an electric field.
We shall know them by their works

If there is an interplanetary electric field, and there is, then, no matter what plasma densities or charges make up the solar wind, there is sufficient charge separation to create that field.

Laboratory experiments with a hot cathode show that electrons tend to be deposited on a metallic substrate first, so a positive charge is created within some regions of any given plasma. If there are separated charges, an electric field forms. Once there is an electric field, no matter how weak, ions accelerate with greater velocity, increasing the charge flow, while forming filamentary electromagnetic structures that isolate themselves from one another.

Large electric currents can flow through the solar system. Although the overall charge of the solar wind is neutral, that is a red herring, since the solar emissions are not a diffuse glow, but confine themselves into Birkeland currents.

The Sun's electric field is also known to penetrate Earth's magnetosphere, so it has to connect somehow. That connection is made by those power lines driven by the solar wind of charged particles.
