Lightning shocked quartz cast doubt of asteroid impacts

Post by shovelredhead » Sun Jul 23, 2017 8:43 pm

The evidence for the Electric universe just keeps growing. The power of electricity and its impact on all kinds of geology on planets is becoming clear .
Lightning can pound rocks with pressures on par with those of an asteroid impact, providing an alternate way to explain shocked quartz crystals.
Lightning can beat up rocks like an asteroid strike, casting doubt on past impacts
Now, a new study suggests that a different sort of shock can create the same banding patterns in mineral quartz: a lightning bolt!

From the link:
But the scales of lightning strikes are small and not likely to be confused for kilometer-size or larger impact cratering events.
Just because we don't presently observe much more powerful lightning strikes doesn't mean they have never occurred in the past, does it? More mainstream assumptions.
In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model. You create a new model and make the old one obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller

I agree, that statement shows how mainstream science want to hold on to the old dogmatic beliefs by trying to downplay the significance of the power of electricity.
