This could be required viewing for anyone posting in this forum or merely interested in EU. As they say, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Explained and demonstrated within is how rotation is caused, canceled and reversed by magnetohydrodynamic effects on fluids, the fluid conducting current and not, fields opposed, transverse and parallel. In this case, for this forum, for anyone who hasn’t seen this or something equivalent, moving pictures of dynamic effects of EM forces on fluids is priceless. It begins with a mention that MHD dominates astrophysics and the MHD effect on plasma in the Sun’s corona.

So, there are 50 views of this, if half of them are bots that still means some of you must have looked at the old film. At 3:30 did you notice the effect the magnetic field had on the trough of liquid mercury? The rotation and motion of the mercury looks like the flow of weather patterns in planetary atmospheres.
