So you did an undergraduate course and passed an exam. I take it you even got a paper to show for it.
And now you find this paper cannot help you to resolve a simple version of the Liar Paradox? Pity! Never trust those papers...

I'd expect any decent teacher could tell you how to deal with this in basic logic.
