18 May '08 ~ David Talbott
Of the five visible planets today, none is more enchanting than the ringed gas giant Saturn, now the object of intense investigation by NASA’s Cassini probe. Data returned by the earlier Voyager probes, and now by Cassini, have left NASA scientists in a state of awe, as one surprise after another has re-defined our picture of Saturn and its moons. ... Re: Origins of Myth
I noticed a Polar Configuration metaphor a recent movie (it also marks the start of the movie's Apocalypse Party). A Trip Through the Mega-Zeppelin. (skip to 1:40 if you don't want to waste time)

Re: Origins of Myth
One of the most striking photos by Cassini is of the shimmering hexagon at Saturn's south pole. Of course, this is baffling to those denying an EU context, but it is another indicator of a common shape of organized plasma filaments, as also evidenced in photos of hexagonal "EDM" craters on Mercury, as well as lab images of glowing plasma columns viewed end-on...like Stars of David. And it is this latter figure which echoes the ancient imprinted images that have survived for eons in our racial memories, as Velikovsky so astutely recognized. Perhaps a polar view from Earth of Saturn did at one time dominate the sky.
