A Eureka idea

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

A Eureka idea

Unread post by outoftheboxguy » Fri Sep 12, 2008 4:43 pm

Greetings respected members of the forum;
I have been thinking for many years about cosmology and the so-called "Big Bang" theory.
I heard a few months ago that stars have beeen found outside any galaxy that appear to be older than the universe itself,said to be approx.13.8 Billion years old, and that some astronomically adjacent galaxies have different red shifts. These would seem to be contradictions to current cosmological theories. A possible explanation occurred to me. Consider the fact that all galaxies seem to have a black hole at their center. These black holes exert a pull even on light itself, isn't that so?
Consider that the light rays escaping from the galaxies' individual stars to be slowed down slightly
by the gravitational pull of each galaxy's massive black hole at its core. Similar to a rubber band being
connected to each light source/or star and stretched out-(wave slowed down-),thereby creating a red shift... each galaxy would have different red shifts depending on the mass of the black hole at its core,
Ergo,the red shift is explained not by its galaxy moving away from the Milky Way,but by its light wave being stretched out by gravity. Could this explain red shift being different for adjacent galaxies?
Also, how could some individual stars be older than 13.8 Billion years? Our theories about the Big Bang
may be only partially correct.Maybe some galaxies survived the present Big Crunch and Big Bang expansion and are left over from the previous Universe? Just some ideas to consider.

We mostly think that there are no black holes. Light would be bent
by aether particle concentration gradients, or by electrical fields.
Galaxies are redshifted because light loses energy in it's travels.
We abhor the Big Bang !
