“The most remarkable, and the most unbelievable, aspect of the Saturn theory is our hypothesis that Earth had originally been suspended “beneath” Saturn’s south pole sharing the same axis of rotation with its primary. There was a time when such a linear formation was actually believed to be outside the possibilities of astronomical bodies. But as Halton Arp an iconoclast among astronomers has indicated linear formations in space are now believed to be quite common. “It is a curious and exciting property of the universe,” he reported in 1987, “that a great deal of extragalactic matter appears to be arranged in linear formations.” These linear configurations include galaxies which stretch across space “in chains.” As Arp disclosed, “chains and filaments of galaxies are very common features of the distribution of galaxies of the sky. 2012 and Beyond
Egyptian Mythology; Murray Hope concluded from her study of Egyptian mythology that Sirius was responsible for a change in the Earth’s orbit, resulting in the 5 extra ("epagomenal") days and also, possibly, the axis tilt which causes the four seasons. She also concluded that Sirius would be somehow involved with an imminent "evolutionary quantum leap" for mankind.
Sirius is called the Arrow Star. Sirius and Canopus measure “the Deep” – the Abyss (the hole of the millpeg through which the original axis mundi (Cosmic Birkeland Current) ran. The original alignment was polar and collinear – stellar bodies suspended like strings of pearls. The “Foundation Stone” covers “The Abyss”. Where is “The Abyss” located in the heavens – in Sirius?
Incredibly enough I have found a stack of evidence that seems to support this bizarre idea. Most of it is taken from the epic work on mythology by De Santillana and Von Dechend, called "Hamlet’s Mill". The theme of the book is that myth is essentially cosmological; that the ancients passed on complex cosmological information in the form of stories about the gods and ancestors. One of the recurring themes is the knowledge of the Precession of the Equinoxes. Shakespeare’s Hamlet was based on Scandinavian mythology about Amlodhi, (or Frodhi), who was the owner of a mill. When an enemy killed Hamlet and stole the mill, he put it on a ship, the mill broke, and the ship sank, causing a permanent whirlpool. After comparison with other mythology, the authors concluded that this is a remnant of the story of the cosmic collision that caused the tilt in the Earth s axis. (the obliquity of the ecliptic), which gives rise to our seasons and also the 26,000 year cycle of precession. The massive interweave of evidence is very convincing, even down to the names some cultures still use for the polar stars e.g. Mill-peg and The hole of the Mill peg. However, this may only be part of the story, as further mythological comparison reveals.
In the Indonesian Rama epic, when Rama is about to shoot his magic arrow into the sea, a lady arises from the sea to warn him that "right here was a hole in the ocean leading to the underworld, and who informs him that the water in that hole was called the Water of Life." This parallels the story from Northwest America, of the maiden who shoots her arrow into the "navel of the waters which was a vast whirlpool", thus winning fire.
An old Iranian story tells how the star Tishtriya soars like an arrow to Lake Vurukasha, causing the centre to surge up and flood. Tishtriya is the name for Sirius, which shares another name - Tira - with Mercury, who was Hermes, the messenger of the gods to the Greeks, and the father of Pan.
The Babylonian name for Sirius was KAK.SI.Dl., which means "arrow", and the Sumerians, Babylonians, Egyptians, and Chinese all had a constellation built from stars of Argo and Canis Major, which resembled a bow and arrow, in which Sirius was variously either the tip of the arrow or the target.
Nibiru, which Sitchin called "the Planet of the Crossing", means "ferry, ferryman, ford", according to Santillana and Von Dechend. This connects it with the later Greek concept of the dead paying the ferryman to get across the river Styx to meet Cerberus, the three-headed dog. It has been correlated to Jupiter, like Marduk, by various "experts", also to Canopus, the North pole, the summer solstice, but perhaps most significantly, a comet!
The ark of Utnapishtim was a cube of floor-space one iku, and "since the ark disappeared there was a stone in its place... which was called foundation stone". This foundation stone covered the abyss, or Apsu.
Adrian Gilbert claims that the original version of the Styx, was the Milky Way, since the Egyptians believed that Paradise was located in Orion, and that the ritual bringing of a dead body across the Nile for a ceremony in the pyramid, represented the soul’s journey across the Milky Way to Orion. However, Sirius is also implicated here, since the shaft in the King’s Chamber pointed to Orion, but the shaft in the Queens Chamber pointed to Sirius, and it is this shaft that leads to the Secret Chamber.
The Canopus Revelation
Cruttenden goes in search of a sister star for our sun, and a “centre” around which both these stars revolve. He promotes several possibilities, with a specific emphasis towards Sirius as our sun’s sister, and a (small) possibility that Sirius B could be the centre of the system – though he himself considers it more likely that a black hole elsewhere, as yet undiscovered, would be the area around which we circulate.
In The Canopus Revelation, I highlighted material about how Canopus and Sirius indicated the depth of the Abyss, and that the description of this Abyss was using the same words modern astrophysicists used to describe a black hole. I also linked this with the great cycles of time, namely the Great and Perfect Year. In the section “Sirius and the Great Year”, I quote from the work of Robert Briggs, who described both Sirius and Canopus as “They control time – time does not control them.” This suggests that both stars had some specific importance for the ancient Egyptians that exceeded the other stars, whereby the two stars were “timekeepers”, i.e. control the calendar.
Cruttenden and I have argued independently that certain alignments open up the Abyss, a black hole. I have shown material that this alignment was calculated and visualised by Sirius and Canopus, which measured the depths of the Abyss – the black hole.
“In astrology, Sirius and Canopus are associated with evolutionary affairs of Earth and Humanity, and herald potent global experiences. Canopus is specifically responsible for the evolutionary development of entire planetary systems, whereas Sirius holds specific responsibility for Earth.” This fits perfectly within the binary star hypothesis, as outlined by Cruttenden. In short, it argues that Canopus plays the most instrumental role in the determination of orbit around the centre of our star system: the Abyss.
“The number 30, of the First World, was linked to the Saturnalia. These were festivities linked with the Roman god Saturn, considered to be the ruler of the First World and the Roman counterpart of the Egyptian Ptah and the Greek Chronos. Saturn was also the outermost planet of our visible solar system and as such could be said to ‘measure’ it, the ‘measurer of time’, the chrono-meter.
The Ark of the Second World could be identified with Argo, if only because Argo was a ship, and it had 50 stars, the sacred number of the Second World. Both ages are linked with Sirius, which had also been a measurer of both ages. Sirius was identified with an arrow (perhaps the origin of the symbol of the arrow of time?) and was said to have caused floods. In the Babylonian New Year, Sirius was known as mul.KAK.SI.DI, ‘who measures the depth of the Sea’. The felling of the tree caused the whirlpool to come into existence. This was labelled the cosmic axis, or the navel of the World. The navel is the ‘hole’ in the human body that connected its interior to the mother, its nurturer, a ‘cosmic axis’ between child and parent.
The Abyss was the place to where the rulers of the Olden Ages were retired. It had happened to the Greek god Chronos, or Saturn. Chronos was hurled into the Tartaros, the bottomless pit, the Apsu. It was literally as if Canopus had opened the lid of its box, and Chronos had been thrown in, with the box closed again afterwards. Like a coffin (Osirus). As if he was dead.”

The dossier of attributions to the Temple Mount and Foundation Stone is awesome. The Stone, which came from God's Throne of Glory, was set as a lid upon the tehom, the subterranean waters of chaos, similar to the Sumerian and Babylonian concept of apsu. Just as Babylon was built upon the bab-apsu and was the "Gate of Apsu," so the Foundation Stone covers the Mouth of the tehom, suppressing the waters of Chaos that preceded Creation.
The Hebrew word tehom means an abyss (such as a surging mass of subterranean water) or an uproar of waters in violent commotion or waves in turbid violence, making a great noise. Tehom implies the deep (as in the principal sea or underground water source) and fountains of the great deep, and it implies chaos, mystery, depth, and power.
In a larger sense, tehom signifies the watery precreation abyss, wildly swirling whirlpools, the layer of water underlying the physical Earth, and the formless waste or primordial substance from which God created the world. This primeval water, if not stemmed, would erupt from apertures in the land and flood the entire Earth. The Biblical Flood is understood to have been produced by an "uncorking" of the tehom, of the waters from deep below.
Legend says God then built up the Earth concentrically around this Stone just as the body of an embryo is grown from its navel. "In the same manner in which the body of the embryo receives its nourishment through the navel, so the whole Earth too receives the waters that nourish it from this Navel."
