What is time?

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

I am sure this question is not directed at me, but there is NOTHING that is impervious to the effects of TIME since TIME is not a physical force. Just the moment of NOW that will become the PAST and move into the FUTURE nothing MATTER can do is impervious to this effect.

Here is the problem.

Let us give you infinite power over all MATTER in the UNIVERSE. You reverse all energy by your conciousness. You do that and even your own perception too, did you change anything?

If you don't change your perception did you really reverse TIME or did you reverse MATTER.

As an all powerful being that can reverse all MATTER it is just like reversing a clock. If you move the hands back or all MATTER, did you really change TIME, even your own consciousness, did you really reverse the IRRESTISTABLE FORCE of UNIVERSAL TIME? No you didn't.

TIME, an aspect of the UNIVERSE, is the IRRESTISTABLE FORCE that all MATTER is IN that is eternal; which cannot be influenced in any way by human perception, imagination, only comprehended and MEASURED by our INTELLIGENCE.

You totally lost me here.

Time Equivalence
http://www.circlon-theory.com/HTML/timeEquiv.html

Gravitational Time versus Inertial Time

Physical time exists as two separate arrows or time flows that are measured by two completely different kinds of clocks. Inertial time can be measured by the daily rotation of the Earth on its axis or by the vibration of atoms in an atomic clock. Gravitational time can be measured by the yearly revolution of the earth around the sun or by the swing of a grandfather clock’s pendulum. The ability of a particular clock to measure the effects of one type of time is dependent on its ability to be isolated from the effects of the other type of time. A thought experiment is proposed to illustrate the mechanism by which an inertial clock is slowed by an increase in velocity and by which the rate of a gravitational clock increases as it gains velocity.

Metaphysical Time

Time does not have a real physical existence like matter or even the void of space that has a negative existence. Time is merely an idea used to quantify the motion of matter through the void. The idea of time is a dichotomy between metaphysical time and physical time. Metaphysical time is the perception of time as a continuous flow that is without interval and is thus immeasurable. It is the comprehension of motion and therefore of time’s passage. Once time becomes quantified into intervals by the cyclical motion of a clock it becomes Physical time.

Physical Time

Physical time does not have a single homogenous flow but rather is measured as two distinct and unrelated phenomena that are measured with two completely different kinds of clocks. The two separate types of time flow that we cut into equal intervals with our clocks are gravitational time that is derived from the constancy of a gravitational acceleration and inertial time that is derived from the constancy of momentum (mv) or angular momentum (mvr) of a body in motion, either in a straight line or rotating about an axis. Physical time is the concept used to generalize these two opposite time flows into the idea of a single one-dimensional temporal motion. Inertial time and gravitational time are the quantitative intervals measured by clocks and metaphysical time is the qualitative and dimensionless ideal principle common to both.

Clocks do not measure time directly; they monitor the relationship between mass and space. Time is merely the relationship between mass and space, and its existence can only be established and quantified by the measurement of these two parameters. Since time cannot be measured independently of mass and space, any change in the values of mass and space will cause the values of the intervals recorded by clocks to be transformed as well.

I don't mean to be confusing or cause anyone to get lost.

What I was trying to get at by saying if a person had all power over MATTER in the UNIVERSE and reversed every single energetic process, everyone's perception including the person that caused all MATTER to reverse back lets say just 1 day INCLUDING the perception of the person reversing all MATTER, did or would anything change?

The answer would be no, nothing would change for that 1 day. Worst there would be a repeating loop. A stable measureable time loop in a way. That is not the point of what I was saying anyway.

Even if you, me or any person had power to reverse all MATTER in the UNIVERSE it would be the same as reversing the hands on a clock. TIME, UNIVERSAL TIME, would not reverse at all, even if everyone else was unaware of the reversal. TIME is not connected to MATTER since all MATTER in the UNIVERSE is not ON a dimensional plane like a fourth dimension in SPACE, but IN the irrestistable force of TIME.

While UNIVERSAL TIME can only be understood in a Metaphysical sense as lizzie pointed out by INTELLIGENT MATTER, it is a real aspect of the UNIVERSE as much as SPACE is an aspect of the UNIVERSE.

TIME is just like SPACE in that both have ZERO physical properties or in other words NOTHING for MATTER, especially INTELLIGENT MATTER to act ON either TIME or SPACE, only IN both.

While we have measurement devices that are made from MATTER to comprehend the UNIVERSE, to give us a relative, approximate, or equivalence of UNIVERSAL TIME.

Since MATTER is IN the IRRESTISTABLE FORCE of UNIVERSAL TIME, not ON the IRRESTISTABLE FORCE like a boat ON a river. Even using a river to describe TIME does not equate the IRRESTISTABLE FORCE because it implies that even being IN the river or flow of UNIVERSAL TIME means that 'somehow' (don't you love how mathematicians use that word to explain the theory of everything, somehow the singularity exploded by a poppin' proton to cause the Big Bang by Stephen Hawking, and all the other somehows that explain black holes, dark matter and dark energy) UNIVERSAL TIME can be influenced by MATTER.

Just like SPACE, TIME is the same that in that MATTER cannot influence, change, breach, impact or otherwise change either TIME or SPACE.

To understand TIME we must first understand SPACE since it is a similar aspect of the UNIVERSE like TIME.

SPACE is the void, the area that MATTER fills that at any point in the universe stretches into infinity. SPACE has no properties like TIME to influence, only FILL.

That is how TIME again is not a ruler or has control over MATTER, yet it is as valuable as SPACE in that TIME, UNIVERSAL TIME, can be FILLED by MATTER.

We fill up TIME by typically increasing our knowledge, understanding and thus our intelligence grows. We do our best as limited as we are to use our TIME effectively.

MATTER (subjects like measurement, death, entropy) is not the same as TIME or SPACE.

I am not discussing the concepts, understanding, measurement, and intelligence of MATTER.

Only SPACE and TIME that have no properties, yet MATTER exsists IN both at the same moment.

SPACE is an immovable object to MATTER and TIME is the IRRESTISTABLE FORCE that MATTER acts IN that can not be reversed, breached, smashed, or changed.

Both TIME and SPACE are real separate aspects of the UNIVERSE as is MATTER is also an aspect of the UNIVERSE, which we are, is real.
