Could wildfire in CA be the result of Birkeland currents?

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

Could wildfire in CA be the result of Birkeland currents?

Unread post by hubertk » Sat Nov 17, 2018 4:02 am

Hi All,

I saw the pictures of the recent wildfire in California. There are trees burning from the inside, cars melted, houses completely burned down, but trees next to it not.

When I looked at it, I thought it could be Birkeland currents.

Here is one (of many) youtube videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lN2IxvDMnHg

What do you think?
