Well, it could break up, be abraded and end up as dust, but it would not reform again...

The second law of thermodynamics states that an isolated system's entropy never decreases spontaneously. When the object breaks up, and ends up and dust the dust cannot reform spontaneously, it needs something to reform it, a mechanism.
In essence it is the main problem with astrophysical dogma. Dust cannot form planets without mechanism, yet that is what they teach in school. That dust clumps together forming Earth sized objects. It is really bad. What brings the dust together?? They have no mechanism.
Not only that, but entropy always increases. So since it is the star that forms the "planet" internally, there is still extra entropy created due to the process of stellar evolution. Planet formation is extremely energy intensive, good thing mother nature figured it out by providing lots of space to do so.
