If the conductive solution is very acidic the metal(s) need to be slowly corroded. Like acid with lead plates. Life of battery is guaranteed to be in accordance with sale price.

If the conductive solution is less acidic like salt ocean water, the metals can be less corrosive like copper plates and the batteries while bigger last decades instead of years. Same recharge ability.

What hasn’t been looked at is “why does less acidic last longer?” Why should size matter, the WW11 Spitfires battery was nearly the length of the underbelly of the fuselage. Made from copper, hessian and sea water. A friend of mine came across a crashed one in Nth Aust back in early 70’s and pressed the start button and the engine started turning over!!!!!

Perhaps one could understand this relationship between corrosion and electricity production and take it to the least corrosive plates like Stainless Steel and the least corrosive water like pure mountain spring water. Waters that are magnetically charged to the earths ‘field’ and thus the two same charges repel each other and the water repels the earths field by traveling up to the top of the mountain before being ‘neutralized’ upon release from the earth. Such a battery design could ‘last forever’ rather than highly corrosive solutions and oxidization of metals. It just requires SS neutral plates and SS insulators and ‘earth charged water’ or ‘spring water’ or water with an earth charge field induced by adding Battery energy to the plates to kick start the process.
The Fountain of Youth gave adepts of Alchemy the healing plasma of Life. But you need to drink it every day. There's no magic take one dose potion.

If you think about it the Amber coating for wires used in electrical windings (or Tesla coils) the amber is an insulator and a Neutral plate in one. Without the coating there’s not much of a Tesla magnetic field generated. In NEW ATOMIC theory context, there are no insulators, everything is magnetic its just some are more magnetic than others allowing easier flow on magnetic energy equalisation principles.
I’ve already posted a description of the Stainless Steel cold fusion battery. The above battery discourse just goes to show that 2000 years ago in Iraq, they knew how to make a battery last 2000 years so they could be looted by US carpetbaggers from the Baghdad museum.

Its all about the money and the science to back it up for a profit all the while stifling sustainability.
