Enigmatic "Ribbon" Of Energy Discovered by NASA Satellite

Beyond the boundaries of established science an avalanche of exotic ideas compete for our attention. Experts tell us that these ideas should not be permitted to take up the time of working scientists, and for the most part they are surely correct. But what about the gems in the rubble pile? By what ground-rules might we bring extraordinary new possibilities to light?

Enigmatic "Ribbon" Of Energy Discovered by NASA Satellite Explained

Enigmatic?
Like the "mysterious" and "enigmatic" "dusty wall" seen around Betelgeuse?

It is just the "E-field" lines in a "double star battery circuit".

More on double stars

We live in a double star system.
We need to study double star systems.

It looks like a torus... :?

“This is a perfect example of the scientific process: we observe something completely new and unexpected with IBEX, develop various hypotheses to explain the observations, and then develop mathematical models to try to validate the hypotheses.”
So you can validate hypotheses with mathematical models now?

It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong.

- Richard P. Feynman

Normal science does not aim at novelties of fact or theory and, when successful, finds none.

I don't remember much math, but doesn't it have to do with the "square of the hypothesis"? :?

Not only that, Sparky: It probably has to do with the inverse square of the hypothesis! LOL Coffee through the nostrils=Nostril Domus
I sense a disturbance in the farce.
